Device Permissions

Helpful device permission information on joining Cavrnus for the first time or on a new device.

Permission Settings

If you are joining Cavrnus™ for the first time or on a new device, you may need to allow certain permissions and restart the application, in order to utilize the functionality of video, audio and screensharing.

macOS

Audio Permissions

To use your microphone, click OK on the following prompt.

Video Permissions

To turn on your camera for video sharing, click OK on the following prompt.

Screensharing Permissions

To share your display, click Open System Preferences.

Once you have your Security & Privacy settings open, select Cavrnus.

If you have Cavrnus open at this time, macOS will prompt you to Quit & Reopen. Note: for screensharing functionality, the application will need to be restarted in order for this update to process.

General Permissions

You can access your device permissions settings by opening up System Preferences. From here, navigate to Security & Privacy. You will need to scroll down and allow permissions for Camera, Microphone and Screen Recording. Note: if you make any changes to device permissions from your System Preferences while Cavrnus is running, please quit Cavrnus and reopen to ensure a seamless update.
